The stepside bed looks the same from 1957 to the mid 1980s, but there were many different lengths. 6 1/2, 7 1/2, 8, and 9 foot. The wheel wells are located in different places on the different beds so you need to figure out what you need and verify the bed that will work before you go hunting. No point in picking up a 7 1/2 footer if you need an 8 foot bed.
