Make sure the lifter is down, and compress the valve spring. Then remove the 'locks', the wedge shape pieces that are stuck to the valve stem. Let off the compressor, and remove the valve.

To re-install the locks, you may need to solder some wires to them so you can put them in 'upwards'. The seem to be tinned, to help lock them in, but the tinning helps with the soldering.
