Once used dad's VW Sirocco to pull a truck out of the mud. I guess it's okay to tell that story now that he doesn't have that car anymore.
Also picked up some furloughed fire fighters from along the river once. I thought they were surfing a standing wave that sets up around 25-30K cfs. Nope, they were shooting the rapids on boogie boards. A run that takes all day in the summer took them about 30min at flood.
