We're talking about an '84 Toyota pickup here, so don't get too worried. I'd like to look at the brakes. Drums are rusted on. Threaded holes for pushing them off are rusted/stripped out. Kroil plus much beating and prying has no effect. Would it hurt to run a torch around the inner edge of the drum, maybe just barely get it dull red, try to do it fast and not heat up the axle too much? Or is that going to warp things, wreck the bearings, etc?
