Those were the big Dodge vans with the extended bodies. Around here, some of the governmental organizations who use them limited the number of people they could haul.
Just got back from Panama. They use Toyota buses a lot. A little bigger than the Dodge vans. They don't seem to have any problem hauling as many people as they can cram into them.
