Jerry: If you are not concerned at all about reducing your rear end departure angle, here is an idea for lowering your receiver so you don't have to use receiver hitches with a huge drop to tow ordinary height trailers.
Shown below (I hope) is a receiver I made that bolts to the bottom of a Power Wagon rear cross member. One benefit is that it leaves room install a pintle hook on your PW rear cross member. The upper 2" square tube spacer moves the actual receiver down 2" to create enough space for the pintle hook's bottom release lever to operate. Imagine the rear tail shaft in my photo has been replaced by a Dodge WDX pintle hook, so you noe can tow with a pintle or a receiver. And the amount of drip required in a receiver hitch has been reduced quite a bit. I'll post another reply so I can attach a different photo of my PW receiver. :)
