If Johnny wanted to provide him with free housing forever, he wouldn't be selling the bus. If he's selling the bus, the friend/bum/hobo/gypsy/mendicant/etc is going to have to move out anyway. I can't see the point in waiting until somebody's coming to take the bus away to tell the guy that he has to leave. But that's just me.
