I took my time this weekend and adjusted the brakes on my '56 FFPW this weekend. I don't feel any "pulsations" when I brake, but when I adjusted the brakes until I had a slight drag, it acted like every drum was a bit out of round since it grabbed on part of the drum, and then as I spun the wheel the drag decreased/ended until I got about to the same side of the drum.
It sound to me like I ought to turn the drums, but can I see a lot about "turning the drums with the hub" still on them.
Can somebody help me and explain why I can't just take the drums off and have them turned at a shop that does trucks/buses?
