Can you find them? I always thought UPS and FedEX didn't sell their old trucks for parts, otherwise I'd expect we'd see a lot more people using the drivelines.
A lot of people looking for the 4BTs use old Bread Trucks. A lot of them were converted to 4BTs and then scrapped when the tranny couldn't stand up to the diesel or they just get too old. That's where most of the 4BTs, mine included, are coming from for road use.
Only problem might be they are 2WD and PWs are 4WD, so you will have to convert the tranny to accept a T-case which may or may not be very easy.
