last month i was filling the front diff.the dispenser for the gear oil just fits in the fill hole of the 48.while pumping my brains out i didnt see any gear oil under the fill hole.so i kept a pumping a way on the dispencer.what had happened instead of the gear oil coming out on the floor undeer the fill hole.the oil was traveling along the hose and being deposited 3 feet away from were i was looking.i grossly over fill the diff.i drained out about 4 litres or near a gallon out the drain hole(small hole)set the level to half inch below fill hole.problem now gear oil is coming out near the nuckle were these half round covers are near were the axle goes into the nucle.the leak was going on for some time and now has stopped.is there a seal to stop that oil from coming out! or does it just maintain a certain level once the diff is correctly filled.never had seen a drip oof oiil in that area befor the massive over fill or did i do damage or some gasket or seal no working any help would be appreciated junoir copey
