someone before me messed up the original gas tank and it is all there
and since it has been awhile i am a little stupid in certain areas and i could not get the square nut off the rear straps---lol
anyway that is some tuff steel
finally figured out you just take off the front nuts and unscrew the strap as the sq. nut is fixed to it--lol --or at least as far as i can tell
however the tank does not want to move and come up and i don t want to pull anymore stupid stunts if i can help it
there is tar all over it and the chassis as it used to have a tar or oil tank or some such on it for road applications
wonder if the tar spilled down in the skid plate and glued the tank to the skid plate
i have an xtra tank they mounted on the drivers side rn.bds. which i removed and while i take the stock tank to get repaired i will set it down on the skid plate and hook up the line--it has old gas in it so what do i need to do as far as cleaning it goes
battery is $170 here
so hope to drain the oil start it on decent used oil and then put new in put the radiator hoses on the altenator and belt and she what happens
what about coolant should i put that in right off the bat or run water thru it first then drain and put coolant in it
