Yes the search feature is a joke.
I have tried some of the suggestions here already with limited success.
A lot of the time I have had better luck with the e-bay drop down links when your typing.
The web forums search feature is even worse while looking for a thread or answer to a problem on many sites.
Although I will give credit to Phil S for the search option here on this site.
Works much better than most!
