Rear stake pocket

I was pondering about the rear stake pockets as long as I need some. To have a local fab shop make some twice as heavy and the lower panel to give needed strength to the rear of the bed. I have seen a lot of these utiline beds with braces or reinforcement welded to them.One of the trucks I owned had angle welded across the bottom and up both sides and it was very sturdy.
