W300 starting problem found

It seems as though the amp gauge is the culprit. I have no power passing through it, but when I jump it with a hot wire, everything is good.
Doug and Milo were right on. (And maybe others)
Anyway, I now would like to find another amp gauge, new or used, as long as it works. This is a 1968 W300. I would prefer putting it all back together as original if possible.
Does anyone have one they will sell?
