This is a little unsettling

So Im taking the front axle apart to install the disc brake conversion. Im also going to add the 4.89 third member since I have access to take the axle shafts out.

I pulled the passenger side drum off and see this. I have 300 miles on the truck since I originally did all this, what would cause this? Is it nomad to have them do this?
