Make sure you use oils which are listed as copper/bronze compatible or "yellow metal" compatible on the label.
I think Lubriplate SPO-277, available at NAPA and online, fills the bill, but check the specs to make sure it's what you want.
The steering box and winch don't see the same shearing action as hypoid rear ends so they don't require extreme pressure (EP) lubricants which may contain free sulfur. Sulfur is the element in oil that corrodes bronze.
