Eng ID question

Just had a 1954 c1-b6-108 1/2 ton p/u take up residence here. Eng ser # P25-223343. Looked up eng ser # on t137 registry and a P25-223343 comes up as a Plymouth 218. Another website broke P25 down into early/later 1954 and listed P25-1 as 218cid and P25-2 as 230 cid. Anybody know for sure? Also, anybody ever swap 230 crank and rods into a 218 to convert to 230?
