A 440 will almost equal a 6.2 in torque? I had a 6.2 in my GMC and the only thing it did was get good mileage. It no where near came close to the power my 440 in my old D200 is puttin out. I liked the diesel but hated the 6.2. Mine always had a 30$-100$ electrical module going out of it making it not run.
Stick with the 440 unless your gas prices over there are too high.
