Cummins made an "A" series in Japan for about 4 years from '87 to '91. The 4AT2.3 is 2.3L, the 6AT3.4 is 3.4L.
I just purchased a 6AT3.4 to put into a '67 landcruiser FJ45V wagon, possibly with a ZF 6 speed behind it. Not exactly a "car" application, but a 6BT would be defintely too big. A 4BT would work but 6s are much smoother and I couldn't resist it.
