there is always a swap
for a Dodge it is the best, cheep to rebuild if you manage to break it and there are a million out there.
the only auto swap I would even consider is the T700 which is a modified 700r4 chevy
think jet sells it
has a 3.1 first, .7 overdrve,
they make it as a strait 4 speed auto with no lock up converter, someone makes or did make a adapter to bolt a chevy tranny to a dodge motor,then you just run a chevy t-case.
but thats alot of work and money for a getting an od tranny
