M37 x WDX

What do ya'll think of putting a WDX (sheetmetal only) on to a M-37 drivetrain and bed? The M-37 drivetrain was my parts truck, and the WDX I can buy for a small amount. Would this upset the POWER WAGON gods. Thanks for any advice.
