any tranny experts out there

I have a A727 big block tanny that has been rebilt a year ago and when I changed the filter in it. It had normal wear on it but now it has a hard time going in reverse what I mean by this is I put it in reverse I have to give it a lot of gas it seems like it is clogged or something and sometimes it moves in park and nutral but it starts the tranny is a 76
