Be carefull on sandblasting the body sheetmetal. It is thicker than most vehicles sheetmetal but warping is still possible. I'd suggest a softer media other than sand or if you insist on sand make sure you stay away and take light passes to avoid the heat. Media material is easier to get than good sheetmetal.
My buddy had his '98 truck bed warped because a kid a the body shop got over zealous with a DA.(heat build up) He just had paint chips and now you could wash clothes on it.
I use a DA in several passes and blast lightly in the nooks and crannies(sp)and haven't had any problems. Anyone else have experience on doing this? Kevin
