Okay, one horsepower is 745 watts.
Everybody remembers from 7th grade science alright it might have been 12th grade physic) that Power=amps X volts.
A 16 inch electric engine cooling fan draws about 11 amps of current accirding to Mr. J.C.Whitney, therefore Power required in a 12volt vehicle is 11x12=132 watts. Too good to be true. I must be calculating something incorrect. Is there an electrician in the forum?
