The VIN has changed over time in what it contains. In the past it was more of a counter. More recently they have embedded a lot more information into it.
When you ask how to decode a VIN number, you need to state the make and year of the vehicle so people can respond to you with the appropriate information. Give us a clue and someone will come up with the information.
