Tim, I have a set of square sockets just like the one you mentioned. Mine have a rubber replaceable O-ring inside as well which helps to prevent the tap or extractor from falling out. Went to my Snap-on dealer in a similar bind. The ones he sold me are not actually Snap-on and are bare steel like an impact socket. However, they work great and have been a real lifesaver even though I don't need them very often. I only paid $25 for the set (circa 1990ish)
