If I had that & was determined to fix it...you really only have 1 option.
Find a machine shop that can cut your housing & weld in another spindle off another rear end, would be the cheapest, rather than machining a new one.
Personally I'd find another housing & save yourself lots of time & money.
There's no other safe fix & even the fix I described...I'd weld it between the rear end & the spring perch somewhere so it's always going to be visible.
