I may end up installing something if I get a lot of deflection from them. The location of the eye mounts are only 2.5" outside the frame centerline so the amount of leverage is no greater than that of a coil spring bucket. The loads will mostly be in shear and I am using 7 bolts to connect each one to the frame rails. The frame is getting boxed and the front cross member there is rather ridged to also absorb a good bit of the torsion that the frame will see. For the sake of fatigue I am making all of my engine brackets, suspension brackets, and drivetrain brackets bolt to the frame. Last thing I want to do is have a welded suspension or drivetrain bracket introduce a fatigue crack into the frame rail of this thing.
