If you decide to make your own brake lines you might want to use copper nickle tubing. It is much easier to work than steel or stainless steel. Use your old lines as a pattern. the tools that you will need are a tubing cutter, a double flare tool and a tubing bender. you can get the tools locally or you may already have them.
