The proper bed for your truck is the second series style. IMO and many others, it is the most beautiful design of all of them. But, it is also the most rare of the three different series.
What Todd says is probably the best way, as you will have difficulty finding a second series bed, and if are fortunate enough to do so, it will probably be very rough requiring a lot of work. Much easier to go with Matt's repro.
