I built an E350 4x4 van for a First Group member(Sgt Mgr), he is taking it to Tiera Del Fuego Chili when he retires next year. No genset, 3 Sharp 123 watt pannels on the roof with an AGM battery bank and a Pro Sine inverter. Set up the vans rain gutter to run water thru a filtration system then into the holding tank. Hidden floor safe, external puck locks on all the doors for security. Fuel capacity is the main problem, there are areas where he expects 750 miles between fuel stations, so next I am building a 6" deep 120 gallon tank with skid plates under his trailer for the low CG. this will give him 750 miles of off road range and 1500 highway. Google global expedition vehicles, that will keep you busy for a while.
