I bet in your neck of the woods there are old rigs all over that got tired of working and just got parked. The owner could put them on ebay, but the "shipping quote" would kill the deal. I wonder what it would take for a guy to get a barge up there and load it up with "scrap metal" and bring it back to Seattle. I remember when they were building the Alaska pipeline they'd spend the winter piling up these huge barge-loads of stuff at the wharf in Seattle and then head out hopefully in time to get there just as the ice broke up. Of course most of it was containerized cargo and pre-fab buildings, but there would always be a "deck load" of all kinds of odd stuff on top, from bulldozers to yachts.
