Generally, tires in size 255/85R16 can be fitted on the same rims that 235/85R16 can, they're just a bit taller at 33" height. I have run this tire size on Willys wagon, IHC Travelall and E350 and liked it on each one. I used the Cooper ST.

One question with these tires and the split ring rims may be the bead type.(?)
