Hey guys i got a question about my heater motor.

I just pulled a rats nest out of my heater box along with the heater core and paneling. The motor fan and casing are still together as one. Looks kind tricky getting it apart. Putting that aside is it a good idea to use the motor that i have if it still works? I haven't tested it yet but it appears to be in decent shape. I don't know if that goes against power wagon safety 101 :)
