I found a 36" inch Starret straight edge in the box almost new, but with a little corrosion: $10.00. Also, picked up a Starret taper gauge: $5.00

Some people accumulate or inherit other people's tools and have no need or appreciation for them.

It's especially sad when you go to a garage sale and see tools that had been accumulated over the lifetime of a deceased craftsman.
