We were just about out the door on the way to church when my wife noticed her pond with her beautiful koi was almost out of water. The pump discharge was frozen and diverted the water elsewhere. there is six inches of ice over the entire pond so we couldn't tell how much water was left.
After wasting several minutes trying to chop a hole to see how the fish were I pulled my 45 and got it done in one shot. I poured two buckets of water in because the outside stop and drains near the pond were frozen.
The fish are looking good now that I have things thawed and refilled.
