the 1960/W300 sit quite high. You will not have a problem getting under her for a good frame/under body inspection. The cab has a built in step viable when the door is opened. If you find rust its easy to get to to repair. The front of the frame rails are not straight, but rather have a taper. Be sure the frame front is not tweaked.
Your future plans such as re-power and up grade drive line components, or leave it as is will reflect how you view the present engine drive line. If your planning a repower, a seized engine can be to your benefit to lower the price. If your going to keep her as is, engine and drive line condition become important. Go over her in depth.
