If both drive shafts are removed, nothing should bind. If they're still binding now, you might as well figure out why, because you'll need to fix it eventually anyway. You can remove the front hubs, and tow it with them uncovered. That will eliminate any problem due to something buggered up in the front axle.
Some will tell you never flat-tow anything at all, but I think it's okay if the distance is short, or the roads are empty, or you have a much bigger rig to tow with. You will probably need to tie the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position to keep it from jerking itself to one side or the other if you hit any kind of bump.
