1978 W-200 440 with 2bl carb

I'm going to look at a 1978 w-200, and the owner says it has a 440 with a 2 barrel carb. The VIN # shows it to be a factory 440 truck, but I can't find anything that shows a 2 barrel carb was available for a 440. Maybe the original 440 was removed and replaced with a 400??? I'll know more when I see the truck, but I want to be as informed as possible when I go to see the truck.
