I described the installation in the July & August 2010 'Power Wagon Advertiser'.
I used a Hot Heads adapter plate, Chevy small block bell and a Saginaw 4 speed transmission with attached NP208 transfer case. On my setup, the fan and shift lever are in the same position as original. This required fabricating a doghouse for distributor clearance.
If you want to use the original under floor pedals and/or original steering, you will save yourself a lot of grief by getting a right side starter. Requires a remote oil filter, which is easier than re-contouring the brake pedal and re-doing the steering.
Also, Sanderson makes a block hugger header for your block.
