I do two things... For my PW I just ran it to 1/4" of a tank, added 3.5 ounces of Marine Grade Stabil, filled up the tank, and drove home. We have not had a real winter here in a while so for the most part I drive it all winter anyway.
For all other gas chain saws and four cycle equipment I use Aviation gas with no ethanol and from what I am told Stabil added. The guys at the airport says they have to guarantee the fuel for one year.
