I consider my WC12 as the the elder Power Wagon as I look at the close outward similarities between it and my FFPW. Being Technically correct its NOT a Power Wagon. My M37 looks even less like a FFPW but shares components like the transfer case. I think the time designator is very good for a break point( 1968 or 71 for export. IMO nothing made after that is a Power Wagon- only in name for reasons already stated. I personally find the non-flat fender PWs of the same era Not classic Power Wagon in the same way but they are in fact Power Wagons and rightly should be considered- But this can be confusing for some when discussing over the phone as in a sight unseen sale. But confusing a Dodge for Willys is way out there. What I hate is the naming of new Dodge Ram trucks badged as "Power Wagon" just because the add an electric winch and a name plate. At least Chrysler is proud of the marque and they should be. Each of my truck is appealing to me in their own way
