Rust coming from the inside out usually means that there is a leak and something holding the moisture there. Usually leaves, needles or dirt have gotten into the doors or cab and is holding the moisture. If the fender wells are rusty that indicates mud with or with our road salt has been trapped in a metal lip.
Clean out everything and keep as much moisture out as you can. If the seams are bleeding look to see if they are swollen out of shape by rust. If they are that means work. If just one or so seams are bleeding it might be ok. If every or a lot of the seams are badly bleeding or are swollen I would look fire something else.
Dry storage is always best. Never cover both a tarp as it will trap any moisture or condensation. A COSTCO carport will be much better but keep one or both ends open or partially poem to allow airflow which will remove condensation on the inside of the fabric.
