Look on the heater box if it has one. Quite often you will see a date stamp on the bottom or on the inside of the lower heater door. That is the heater manufacture date.
My truck had quite a few dates on it which indicated a spring 1951 date. Here are some of the numbers I found.
Headlights Feb 13 and 14 1951 (yes they were original)
Heater March 1951 if I remember correctly
Wheel dates 1951
A couple of parts also had early 1951 dates.
It has the early style bed boards which makes it an early 1951
The truck is registered as a 1952 for some reason.
Look around and you may find some dates.
