China and quality control do not seem to belong in the same sentence, especially when compared to the west.
Many food production professionals come to the US (and Canada I presume) to learn about our food production quality control mechanisms. I have a good friend who works for USDA in this very field who knows. In spite of the media stories, we do a good job here when you think of the massive volume amounts involved.
Not worth taking the risk with Chinese produced foods..
