My WDX has an aftermarket Chelsea pto with a cable shift lever on the side. I wanted to get rid of the cable so I built some linkage that fits under the transmission cover. I made it so it would shift with a lever exactly like the original pto lever through the floor board. Anyway, the lever is in the way of the filler plug on the transmission. Couldn't be helped. I want to drill a hole in the pto cover on the other side for a filler plug at the same level as the factory one. I need a threaded female base and a male plug. I believe the transmission plugs are pipe plugs. Any suggestions on what to look for to weld to the front/back of the pto cover to serve this purpose? Thanks.
