Always change the factory radiator cap. It is the same ford part number as crown vics and other gas engines. They fail and raise the coolant temp a few degrees. This is why the 6.0 blow head gaskets and head bolts. I change mine every third oil change. spend an extra $8.00 per year. I learned this the hard way.
