Without looking at the specs, I would think this is a diesel that is made for the passenger vehicle market--i.e., to behave more like a gas engine with those characteristics (higher horsepower, lower torque, quick warm-up,quiet,etc.) instead of the more industrial oriented that we currently have, such as the isb and qsb.
In other words, dollar for dollar, the qsb or older Cummins may be a better swap unless you are the rare powerwagon owner who has cash to burn, and wants bragging rights.
In other words, nice engine. Fancy, but not necessary.
