Lonnie: here is what gets me: I replaced every piece of fuel line on that going from the fuel pump to the fuel filter...BUT when I put the new fuel filter on, I did not replace the small 4 inch section of 30 year old rubber hose going from the filter to the metal fuel line going to the carb. It just never hit me that even tho the fuel hose looked good that it could just go....I learned and boy Did I learn the hard way!
