Hi Adrian,
If you looking for originality, keep the canister type. If you want to easily find filters, avoid the mess and posible get better filtration, go to the spin on type. I used the Mopar Performance adapter, not that expensive and can be picked up at your local Dodge Dealer, it is in three parts, a block-off plate, an adapter and a rubber gasket. If you are interested, e-mail me and I'll send you the Mopar Part numbers.
